At a time when we get to celebrate how much we have, it only makes sense to show some gratitude by helping others who are less fortunate. That is the philosophy behind the Run to Feed the Hungry 5K and 10K marathon, currently the country’s largest Thanksgiving Day run. At the 22nd annual event, more than 30,000 participants are expected to arrive at the starting line near the CSUS entrance. Start Thanksgiving a little early this year by joining in the Kidical Mass Thanksgiving Ride this Sunday, November 22. Beginning at Grant Park at 22nd and C Streets, kids, parents and others will bike their way all around the Sacramento area to pick up food donation bins for Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services.
