Are you just now realizing that you will need to leave your house some time during the Run to Feed the Hungry event on Thanksgiving morning and you need to know what roads are open and what roads are closed? Me too! I need to get to the event tomorrow morning so my wife and I can participate with many of my fellow agents from Dunnigan Realtors. I’ve looked up all the road information and through it would be good to share with everyone else. Here are when each road effected by the event will be closed: WHICH STREETS ARE CLOSED/AFFECTED BY THE RACE? At a time when we get to celebrate how much we have, it only makes sense to show some gratitude by helping others who are less fortunate. That is the philosophy behind the Run to Feed the Hungry 5K and 10K marathon, currently the country’s largest Thanksgiving Day run. At the 22nd annual event, more than 30,000 participants are expected to arrive at the starting line near the CSUS entrance. Start Thanksgiving a little early this year by joining in the Kidical Mass Thanksgiving Ride this Sunday, November 22. Beginning at Grant Park at 22nd and C Streets, kids, parents  and others will bike their way all around the Sacramento area to pick up food donation bins for Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. (Over 800 pounds of food have been collected this way over the last two years.)
