Who says art has to hang on the wall? No one at the Art to Wear and More event this coming weekend, November 14th and 15th at Shepard Garden and Arts Center. Instead, art comes in the form of wearable clothing, jewelry and other accessories. On Saturday, a fashion show begins the day’s festivities, while on Sunday, there will be live folk, blues, rock and jazz music from Surface Tension.
The event runs from 11am-4pm both days, and admission is free. Proceeds from sales will help fund the Sacramento Center for the Textile Arts scholarship program. For more information, call (916) 806-0991.
