Aside from the demo of the old Sutter Memorial Hospital, there hasn’t been much new news on the development of Sutter Park Neighborhood, until now! There will be a community meeting on Thursday April 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Clunie Community Center in the McKinley Library to talk about the Sutter Park. It looks like this meeting is just to discuss the .6 acre neighborhood park that will be at the heart of the new development. That’s why the Sacramento Public Library chose The Third Plate by Dan Barber as its 2015 One Book selection. The book explores how to change one’s eating habits to promote sustainable agriculture, the full lifecycle of food and the entire country’s food system.
