For the 17th year, the Sacramento Association of Museums is offering the public free access to more than 25 museums and historic parks in the Sacramento area. With the exception of the Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town (which will charge visitors half-price to offset traffic and security costs), all participating museums are offering free admission all day Saturday, February 7.
Just a few of the participants include the California Automobile Museum, California Railroad Museum, Discovery Museum Science and Space Center, and East Sac’s very own Museum of Medical History (which is right behind my listing at 5541 C Street but I didn’t know it was there till I took that listing).
