This Sunday December 2nd will be the 36th Annual California International Marathon! Get ready to cheer on 10,000 runners completing this marathon through our amazing city. Also get ready for some serious road closures!
If you thought the Run to Feed the Hungry made it tough to navigate the streets, you haven’t tried to cross town when the CIM is going on.
For us East Sac residents, the key times are the closing of J Street from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm. This closes J Street from the bridge to Fair Oaks Blvd all the way to Alhambra Blvd where the race takes a little jog to L Street and closes down L Street all the way to the finish line at the California State Capitol.
Come out and cheer on the CIM which is certified and sanctioned by USATF and is a Boston Marathon and US Olympic Trials Marathon qualifier.
