This Memorial Day weekend, you don’t have to travel far to have a great time with the family. Starting Thursday, May 21, and running through Monday, May 25, is the annual Sacramento County Fair at Cal Expo. An annual tradition since 1937, the 2015 Sacramento County Fair promises all the fun and food you’ve come to expect.
There will be live music and other entertainment, demolition derby, professional bull riding and livestock shows and auctions. There’s the Midway of Fun, with more than 30 carnival rides. And of course, you can’t forget the delicious fair food: corn dogs, cotton candy and other delicious, not-so-good-for-you delicacies.
