With its annual Jog-a-Thon, Theodore Judah Elementary focuses on the health and friendly competition of its participants, as well as raising funds for the school’s music program. In addition to teaching music appreciation, history, singing and rhythm, the Judah music program has also begun a progressive note-reading system, making it easier than ever for young musicians to learn to read sheet music.
The Jog-a-Thon happens again this Friday, November 20. If you want to support a student who’s running this year, or just learn more about the event and all the good it does, go to www.theodorejudahpta.org.
