Start Thanksgiving a little early this year by joining in the Kidical Mass Thanksgiving Ride this Sunday, November 22. Beginning at Grant Park at 22nd and C Streets, kids, parents and others will bike their way all around the Sacramento area to pick up food donation bins for Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. (Over 800 pounds of food have been collected this way over the last two years.)
Even if you cannot participate in the pick-up, in the meantime keep an eye out for SFBFS blue donation bins placed throughout the city and make a donation yourself. For more information on Kidical Mass, go to sackidicalmass.org.
