At a time when we get to celebrate how much we have, it only makes sense to show some gratitude by helping others who are less fortunate. That is the philosophy behind the Run to Feed the Hungry 5K and 10K marathon, currently the country’s largest Thanksgiving Day run. At the 22nd annual event, more than 30,000 participants are expected to arrive at the starting line near the CSUS entrance.
The run starts at 8:15am, rain or shine, and will wind its way through the lovely tree-lined streets of East Sac. If you’re interested in joining, or would like more information on street closures, go to www.runtofeedthehungry.com.
