One of the greatest ways to show someone you care this Valentine’s Day is to make something for them by hand. This is especially true for kids, who might not have the means to buy flowers or chocolates. So this Friday, February 12, McKinley Library will host an afternoon of hands-on crafts. Starting at 3:30pm, participants will create valentines out of card stock and other items.
From there, the romance continues with the experimentation and production of sensory slime (with glitter, confetti and food color added to make sure it works for the Valentine’s Day theme). It’s hard to think of a better way to show your love.
