This Saturday and Sunday, November 8 & 9, the Sacramento Center for the Textile Arts will hold their annual Art to Wear and More show and sale at Shepard Garden and Art Center. The wearable art for sale will include clothing, jewelry and accessories. There will be artist fashion shows both days to model some of the works for sale. Refreshments will be available for attendees, and there will be live music by Surface Tension on Sunday.
The show runs 10am to 4pm both days, and admission is free. Proceeds from the event go to benefit the SCTA scholarship program. For more information, call (916) 731-4410 or email scta1979@gmail.com.
