Those wonderful people over at the Turn Verein are celebrating Bockbier from Germany with their 48th Annual Bockbierfest on Friday & Saturday, April 1 & 2. If you’ve never had Bockbier before, you are in for a treat. It is a traditional darker Bavarian beer with a malty flavor, sweet finish and higher alcohol content than average giving it more of a kick (a kick kind of like the German word “bock” that means “goat”).
Come on out and enjoy German music, food, drink and dancing. General admission is $20 for adults and children up to 12 years is only $5.00.
