Founded in 1865 by abolitionists, The Nation is the oldest weekly magazine in America today. In honor of the progressive magazine’s 150th anniversary, this Friday, November 13, East Sac residents are invited to an exclusive screening of the documentary film, “Hot Type: 150 Years of The Nation” at Clunie Community Center.
The film starts at 6:30pm, and will be followed by a Q&A with a couple of The Nation contributors who appear in the movie. Admission is free but, as space is limited, reservations are still encouraged. For more information, go to www.saclibrary.org.
