Volunteers are needed this Saturday, November 8, from 9am-12noon to help the Friends of East Sacramento tidy up McKinley Park. After meeting up in front of the Clunie Community Center, volunteers will help to prune bushes, weed and rake by the center and the tennis courts.
Snacks, water and coffee will be provided. So will some gardening equipment, although volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and tools if they have them. For more information or to reserve a volunteer space, go to friendsofeastsac.org or call (916) 452-8011.
