This coming Monday, September 9, will be the last Mulch Madness at McKinley Park for the year, conducted by the Sacramento Tree Foundation. Volunteers will meet up at 6pm at the Garden and Art Center and apply mulch rings around the bases of the park’s trees until around 8pm. If you have your own gardening supplies (gloves, wheelbarrows, rakes), great. If not, your assistance will still be appreciated; extra supplies will be on hand.
