There are more than 30,000 species of orchids found all over the world. Each one is distinctively colorful, exotic and, let’s face it, one of the sexiest flowers. To find one of your very own–or to get advice on how to successfully grow orchids you already have (or just keep the ones you’ve been given alive)–come on by the Sacramento Orchid Forum Fall Show this weekend, October 18 and 19, at Shepard Garden and Arts Center.
There will be orchids on display and instructional seminars as well as plants and accessories for sale. The event is free and runs from 10:30am-5pm on Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday.
