Looking for plants that are a bit more unusual? Then stop on by Shepard Garden and Arts Center this coming Saturday, March 28, for the Sacramento Perennial Plant Club’s annual plant sale. Unique and favorite plants of the club will be available for sale from 9am-3pm. At noon, Warren Roberts, superintendent emeritus of UC David Arboretum will give a lecture.
In addition to plants, used gardening books will be available for raffle and sale. All proceeds will benefit local community gardens and horticultural projects. Admission to the sale and lecture is free. For more information, call (916) 307-2399.
