Get a start on your holiday shopping while supporting East Sac businesses (and avoiding the mall) with the 2nd annual Shop East Sac program, running from November 1-29. Organized by the East Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, the Shop East Sac program encourages people to stop by neighborhood stores.
Visitors to each of the participating stores will be entered in a drawing to win a $1000 shopping spree (announced Dec. 3). And while no purchase is necessary to participate, many of the local businesses will be offering tempting discounts and gifts.
